Women's Studies Spring Luncheon- 2007The Women's Studies Spring Luncheon was held on May 3, 2007 at the Memorial Student Center with a great turnout of affiliated faculty and supporters of the Program in attendance. Following a buffet lunch and a short concert by Heartsease titled "Some Women's Voices from Shakespeare," the Women's Studies Graduate and Faculty awards were distributed by WMST Program Review Committee members.In addition, special guests Dr. Grace Jameson of Galveston and her daughter, Dr. Elizabeth Jameson of the University of Calgary, personally presented the Henry E. Jameson Award to Capri Fisher, author of this year's winning undergraduate essay, "The Changing Face of Motherhood: How Women's Lifestyle Magazine Advertising Depicts American Mothers of the Past and Present."
