She is completing a manuscript entitled Making Cinelandia: American Films and Mexican Film Culture before the Golden Age, which will be published by Duke University Press. Her primary areas of research are historical reception studies, immigration and mass culture, and the transnational circulation of silent cinema in the Americas. |
